Well It's been awhile since I updated our blog. Let's see if I can remember whats happened! Hope everyone is well? No news is good news.
October we started working with contractors for Brittney's rm with some help from Logan to new homebuyers & various other criteria. My parents & us did not notice these problems at 1st. ( Click on pictures for bigger pic)

Near as we can tell upon close look there was water sitting in Brit's/ Guest Bath for awhile. Maybe after guy who lived there moved out & maybe the family who owned it ( their son had lived there) fixed something right before we were going to buy it to get ready to sell trailer. Trailer may have been unoccupied for 6 months or so? Alot of time for things to go wrong unnoticed. We do not know all the issues yet for this bath till we have gutted it. We do know the water rotted the floor & the floor is breaking thus soft spot in floor in front of sink. We have alot more respect for people who have dealt with contractors they move at the beat of their own drum & to me many times have no respect for other's time etc. Like if they say I will call you by such & such time ..if I told a client that I would at least give a heads up if I couldn't. To me its common courtesy & in effect also I am their boss &who doesn't do what their boss expects to be done? Oh well lol
October for halloween my famil y& I made 3 custom pumpkin jack o lanterns. We did not cheat with using kits etc just freehand which at times made for some interesting faces etc. Looked awesome in the dark had a whole different look than during day ;) See if you can figure out whose pumpkin is whose ..arleen, brit or I...

The storm on 11/18-19 was our first real major storm of the year signaling winter is here. Pics are deceiving the snow accumulation was closer to 1 ft. The lil storm on 11/5/11 was kind of like a dusting but very fun for us becasue our first resident snow ;)


I took this above photo for a friend of mine in Indiana who is an avid deer hunter & hunter traveling everywhere he can to hunt ( goes to Alaska every other year ). We think these are Mule Deer antlers. I bought them next door at the Antique Store & thought were cool!

Brit's new bff here in UT ( she still lots other bff's in Calli also) Abigail ie Abby her great uncle who lives near my parents on a huge property hooked us up big time & me, Brit & Abby went for a lil fishing trip. Following is only a few of the 6-7 fish we caught ( trout):

* These above pics are really like of 2 of the fish. **In all fairness Iam ashamed that Abby caught the 2 biggest trout about foot or so long & a good 6 inches or so girth. Is fitting though since was her families property ;) ..I will say all of us caught beauts that anyone would be proud/pleased to have caught on a fishing trip ;)

As a birthday present to Brittney I took her to a concert. It was also to say thank you for being such a great daughter & to help with new memories i nUtah, & well just gave her a one on one tiem with her dad who loves Blink too! They just reunited in not to long distant past...

Hi family & friends its been so long since I updated our blog I thought I would take the time to update it now & stop putting it off ,, I am starting to feel like Rip Van Winkle! ;) We are well & still in Southern California near Pasadena in the San Gabriel Valley for now.
Arleen & I had on April 15 our 16th wedding anniversary though since we had "gone out" for 3 yrs beforehand it feels like our 19th! ;) That weekend was also special because Arleen & I share birthdays ( 4/16) as does my brother Jared & now 3 little uns from Aunt Patricia ;) ..Very popular birthday in the Parkinsons heehee I decided this year to make it special so I took Arleen to San Marcos not far from Carlsbad & San Diego for a weekend. We stayed at a spot we had stayed at before that we liked called the Lake San Marcos Resort which yes has its own private lake. :)

April 15th we drove down to San Marcos & just took our time which is only couple hours or so from our Apt. I think we ate at a seafood restaurant called Veracruz which had very fresh seafood..yum yum! We were going to ck out a movie etc but we decided to spend quiet time together & took a walk together & might have jumped in hotel jacuzzi next to their pool ;)
April 16th we went at a restaurant nearby for teppan kind of like japanese grilled food ..done like a show similiar to way Benihana made popular.

Arleen had hard time figuring out how to make hat stay lol!

After we left wannabe though good tasting Benihana place I took Arleen for a surprise of mine! I took her to a day spa in San Diego area called The Sanctuary. We both had our feet like scrubbed with sugar & massaged. ( 1st for me) Arleen then had a massage first. Then she had a facial, then had various treatments for her face ie waxing etc. I was having a massage during her treatments. This was the firstime we ever had a massage & though Day Spa etc was smaller than we had thought we had a very relaxing & enjoyable time. They being very patient & professional in our nervousness.

I then took Arleen to a restaurant in San Diego called The Imperial House for a new cuisine fav of both of us called "flambe". I also had my steak flambed ;) When they found out was our birthday they brought a cheescake portion that Arleen & I shared & had some for leftovers :) (BTW we are not drunk lol just our eyes closed from the flash as restaurant had dim romantic lighting)

For Mother's Day I had flowers delivered to my Mom, Alicia & Gr Ma Parkinson to let them know I am thinking of them & appreciate them & maybe just maybe make their day! ;) ( see Alicia's & my parent's blog for pics. For my darling wife & Brit's great Mom ..Brit & I went to a local flower shop like 50 ft from my Apt where a sister from the ward works who gave me a good discount & hooked us up! ;)

I love this artist James Durbin from American Idol. I think he is very talented in my humble opinion probably the best this season though I am impartial to "rock" lol! I also love what he represents that ius though a person may have a disability this does not have to confine them & do not have to take backseat to whatever a "regular person" is! Alos, helps shows what resiliency can do for people! ;) **I know he has been kicked off American Idol but I feel they made a terrible mistake! I think he should have at least been in top 2. This helps shows his talent & that if can sing u can sing anything!

Valentines Day, etc

Hey all been long time since we posted anything no excuses just ..well life ;) Also, been working & trying to progress my genealogy haps.
Yesterday, on Valentines I wanted to let Arleen & Brittney experience some cuisine I had namely Flambe. ( had to bring Brittney because not always possible to find ppl to watch ur children so better to still be able to date) 2 places we were going to visit were booked so I had 3 places I knew I could try. Finally we went to a place in Uptown Whittier called "Crepes & Grapes Cafe" kind of a european cafe with regular food etc not just cafe menu items.
I would recommend Crepes & Grapes Cafe to anyone looking for a "nice" restaurant outside of the normal range of usual family restaurants. Panini in the range of $7-8. Pasta in $8 - 11 range. Steaks, fish & shrimp in $14 -18 range. Special Valentine menu lil pricey but not outrageous as far as restaurants go. I was thoroughly pleased because the nice restaurant type feel & service without the $50 plus plate tabs at "expensive" restaurants. I found a gem & was/is very excited. Since my wife & I are trying to spend more quality time for our weekly dates this gives me an ace up my sleeve ;) lol Mind you I still will not be often attending here because of distance from our Apt & we try to not go out to eat all that much but is an option on special occasions.

In whole the Azusa Parkinson clan had a good Family Home Evening & date for me Adrian & & my cute wife of 16 yrs. I am very lucky to have ever met such a sweet & loving person. Thank you Arleen for saying yes to me when I asked you on a date 19 yrs ago ( though I waited for a week before u said yes) & also for saying yes in my proposal. Also, thank you for giving me another miracle in my life our daughter Brittney. She is such a special spirit! :)

We had some visitors that the Pasadena area ..San Gabriel Valley have as a nuisance!!..grrr I told me wife I am going to start sniping some soon this is getting bad! ;) (not a native bird so not welcome & bad since will make it hard for "native " species to survive!) My video does not do justice they were in some of our complex trees & neighboring shopping center trees in the hundreds!! We have seen them here before but maybe 50? this was insane!

November & Latest Haps

Hi Family & Friends! Been a long time I'll see if we can't ketcha up ;) The latest is my 1999 Toyota Camry blew its radiator up! I noticed after driving home for a short bit on the freeway once on side streets luckily not far from home my engine temperature needle was acting erratic. So got home by then had steam. I lifted hood but couldn't see where a leak was coming from all the hoses were ok. I also noticed no leaks towards back so was pretty sure no engine plugs were prob. Next day I was looking for awhile in the daylight when Arleen came out to ck on me ... I started car & once heated up to normal temp I saw on front side of radiator along top seam coolant coming out so now confirmed here was culprit! ;( So, now I need a new radiator :)

Brittney is in 8th Grade in Middle School/Jr High. This yr she was put in Honors History ..fun stuff lol. They realize they made a mistake putting her in kind of a brush up Pre-Algebra class. Its to easy along with kind of a math skills class. She is still trying to make sense of the drama that happens in Middle School, friends, & basically fun, & ummm yes boys ;(

Above is a pic of Brittney from preparations for a Stake Youth Halloween Party/Dance that 13 yr olds were invited to also. Brit was a bumblebee & was even brave enough to wear costume to school along with normal church "Trunk or Treat" & as I was sayng a church dance/party. She & her besties ( best friends) Denise went. I took them out for some Middle Eastern food nearby to stake center which Brit's friend Denise was unsure at 1st abt. (Denises's parent's are from Mexico)

Do to our poor planning & preparation (brit included ;) ( we did not get to much for her table like cheerleading, dancing, old poetry etc. So see if can find Brit's. We decided to eat at Bubba Gump Shrimp on the Santa Monica Pier thanks to my Parents! ( Quite expensive) Brittney kept daring me to let them know her b-day was coming up so when least expected I let them know. She was thoroughly embarassed when they said Brit is quite the dancer .. "Brit bust a move". While my family were here we went to Mormon Nt at Dodger Stadium ( Dodgers vs Padres). Dodgers lost & was boring game so we left early. Upon walking into Stadium noticed ambulance on field. Found out one of leaders had medical emergency. Next day or so heard leader died of heart attack which he had while on field during opening game throw etc. Some asst pics:

Here is our Azusa Parkinson family update hot off the press heehee ;) 1st up was that our family attended the Azusa 1st Ward 4th of July Annual Breakfast. Some new news is for those who don't know Arleen will be having surgery on Monday 7/19/10. It is laparoscopy (exploratory) for pain Arleen has on her left side that is moderate to severe. The Ob/GYN thinks it is most probably Endometriosis. Endometriosis : is a condition in which the tissue that behaves like the cells lining the uterus (endometrium) grows in other areas of the body, causing pain, irregular bleeding, and possible infertility .While he is checking he will look for cysts on her ovaries ( could be due to pre-diabeties), plugged tube, etc. If at all possible he will try to take care of issue then & there. #1 is t try to help her with her pain & try to find culprit. #2 is to see if can improve her ability to have more children. He will keep me updated & try to take pics to help explain to us what is going on etc.

Camacho 50th Family Reunion

Every year we go to a Park in Rosemead, CA area for a Camacho Reunion/ Picnic on Memorial Day Weekend usually on Sunday. This reunion was started by Arleen's Gr Pa Reuben who passed away within couple yrs ago. Camacho is Arleen's paternal side. This yr because it was the 50th Anniversary it was extra special & Arleen & I even got in some genealogy ;) Usually everyone barbeques american style or mexican style with Carne Asada/ Marinated Pollo (chicken) or whatever they pick up & bring & share amongst that particular branch of family ie like me Arleen, Brit, Ray & Rachel.. This year we had a buffett of sorts ..Arleen brought her famous chili. Here are some pics etc:

Well yall, we never updated some of our pics from me & Arleen's B-Days so here are some pics from our party. We had a lil intimate party here at our Apt with Arleen's Mom's side. We had the Ojedas from Mt High/ Wrightwood area come which was a surprise.

Arleen's Dad & Arleen had to bowl in Las Vegas in a tournament so he treated us for a B-Day Party present there of sorts so the following was just a cpl pictures since we have had pics in Vegas before ;)

Using a function on our new camera we got as present from this past Christmas Arleen made a panorama picture from the hotel room :)

Azusa Parky update

Well, its been awhile ..isn't it amazing how life can get so busy ;) We hope all the family are doing well where ever they are. For Aunt Crockett & family yall are in our thoughts & prayers.

While we were at my parents we had a little snow fall a couple times. After a bit of snow in the morning after my parents left for work I shoveled their driveway. I wish I was clairvoyant because by next day it had melted anyways ;)

Well, it's been awhile since I posted anything life has well..been life ;) Can ya relate? Things are progressing with the genealogy & reuniting adoptees. I am whats called a "search angel" when someone is in a bind & stuck I help them ..well like an angel :)

Arleen still volunteers with Brittney's school along with at church. She loves her calling at church in the nursery ..I guess she enjoys lil angel's spirits there ;)

Well, it's been awhile since I wrote something because we have been so busy! Anyone relate? Thought so ;) Ok for real.. Christmas this yr turned out rather well. TY to all the family who sent cards & or presents etc it was gratefully appreciated. Arleen & I missed the party we were going to have at our place for Arleen's Mom & sisters becasue Arleen sliced her left thumb ;( Her & I spent 6 hrs in local ER :( Woudln't ya know it as soon as I went to get late lunch (lunner) at a closeby Del Taco they saw her @ 5 1/2 hrs there ..grr. I aught to remember next time a family member is in the ER .. go get something to eat :)

Familia update

  Well, we haven't updated here for awhile. This will be the short synopsis being I wrote already on the "old" blog of ours. ( This news was not spoke of there however for the most part) Look in album there for alot of pics ;) We have had a bunch of activities for Brit with YW & such. Arleen had gone to work & will "on call". I am busy with some things up my sleeve as far as work etc but to soon to speak of. I am hustling when can in retail merchandising though hard in industry at moment & for last couple yrs but we get by. I am busy also as a search angel ( volunteer) for genealogy & adoption matters.
  Brit & her friend are shown in a pic that I took recently of them. The two spend so much time together they think of themselves as sisters almost & finish each other's statements at times ;) Paige will we just learn live nearby with her family at her gr ma's for couple months then family will most probably be moving to New Mexico ( unsure what is there??) The apt's asked them to leave because of a guest they had for couple days I think he/she had policia trouble unbeknownst to them supposedly..
  Life goes on here as does for yall. We are going through sooo much & maybe we will be able to discuss in future but we are remaining positive.Please keep in touch when can & or drop by if in area ;) We are thankful for all our friends & family near & far & are always close in our hearts :) Keep us in ur prayers as we do yall.. **Here is one of Brit & I's fav new videos by Allison Iraheta " Friday I'll Be Over U".

Well we got word that a friend of Brittney's BFF Paige had a friend who's family wasn't taking care of their cats & had 2 kittens left so we being the OG cat lovers we are we stepped in & were going to watch 1 of them (we believe is a girl) till we could find a good home. We named our temp addition "Flower" a cute tabby kitten. Arleen & Britt of course now want to permanently take care of her & I am stressing she will not stay "young" forever. My Darling Wife

My Elder's Quorum had an awesome activity recently. We had a date night with our lovely wives ;) Furthermore, we cooked for them ..though it was spaghetti & meatballs ;) We cooked the noodles & spaghetti, italian bread, salad & for dessert cheesecake & brownie! I know what a mix right? Dessert wasn't up to me!! We set tables & & I went around & refilled water & asked for orders for salad dressing. When spaghetti was served we each served our own wives. Oh by the way the kids were babysat in primary room by beehive girls & Relief Society Pres because the original plan of having kids babysat offsite fell thru :(

I liked the end because we went around & the Elder's each shared the story of how they met their wives & how much we each cared for them & this was only a small token of our love for them.

I shared our story & at first couldn't think how best to share our story. A theme seemed to be one of salvation etc. I shared how I met Arleen at kind of a halfway house & at one of the lowest times in my life where I thought I might never find anyone but I think God knows what we each need in our lives & has a plan. I shared how my family are members etc & a little of my life story. By time of meeting Arleen I was basically inactive but starting to tentatively seek out church but was really fallen & broken hearted. My girlfriend before Arleen had cheated on me & Arleen had similiar relationship issues. I shared Arleen's story of having a very hard childhood (nightmarish) ending up in DPCS foster care & came to home I was staying in because maxed out of Foster Care.

Basically, in a nutshell I feel our meeting was a miracle & that we must have been meant for each other. I have felt God was in a way making up for some of our hardship. Arleen joined the church being baptized & even though I asked her not to make me go to church .. she has done that very well ;) Till I started "wanting" to :) Things are not always easy in life but in our core beings we know we love each other & conquering some tests of fire has bonded us .. so have a base to go from when times are hard. I explained how much I love her & hope she feels the same about me with my many imperfections etc. Not many dry eyes after & Arleen said she didn't know I could speak so well & touched her. Which is what I wanted to do for my sweet wife who I love sooo much. I actually felt the spirit very strong... Well there u go a very successful Elder's Activity! We spoke as a Quorum & are now in realization we do not always have to have big hooplahs for activities smaller personal bonding ones are nice once in a while also.

Father & Daughter Big Bear Camp out

On Friday 8/28/09 my daughter & I embarked on a father + daughter adventure ;) We decided since summer was speeding to an end that we would go camping..for real! ( no cabins like the woosy YW :) )

After 1 camping site I had in mind had no vacancy ( heard might be so) & it turned out had to have reservations like 6 wks in advance. I didn't even try for my 2nd choice near Big Bear ski resorts because I heard those were popular also. So luckily I brought a list & a ranger gave us a map so we drove to one I knew was out of the way called "Hanna Flats". Over the MTN & through the woods we did go! ..not really .. we went near a town called Fawnskin near Big Bear & the camp was via 2-3 mile or more dirt road. I told Brit once or twice "Hey, we're pioneers!" She wasn't to thrilled at 1st. Just when we thought we had passed it somewhere ( not good signs) we found it & was an awesome camp. Here is some info I found on web Ck out my old blog for more pics & info! :

Hanna Flat: $17. Near Fawnskin (3 miles, Rim of the World). Great Forest scenery with many hardwood tress such as Oak and Mountain Mahogany. Bike and hiking trails, including the Hanna Flat Trail. Hanna Flat Campground is located in the San Bernardino mountains, three miles from Big Bear Lake and situated in a pine forest. Popular activities in the area are hiking, mountain biking, boating and fishing. Markets and restaurants are within convenient driving distance.

This facility is operated by California Land Management. Your comments are appreciated; comment forms are available from campground hosts or directly at www.clm-services.com.

Alerts and Important Information

Effective September 1, 2009, through the end of the official 2009 fire season. All wood and charcoal fires are prohibited in all developed campgrounds , day use areas , and all other developed areas

During October, 2007, much of the forested area surrounding Hanna Flat Campground burned in the Butler Fire. Please be advised that repair work may continue through this summer. Also, since much of the area surrounding Hanna Flat was burned over, people will need to avoid hiking on the hill sides above the campground. Also, many of the forest system roads and trails in the general area of Hanna Flat are closed to public use, and may remain so for this summer.

Reservations must be made at least 1 days in advance.

3 night minimum on holiday weekends.

Extra vehicle fee beginning with the 2nd vehcile will be collected at the campground.

No refunds for bad weather.

No ATV/OHV in campground

Brit's B-Day Parties, etc

In case ppl haven't figured out that Brittney turned 12 on 8/11/99. She was lucky this yr being that she had 2 parties! One with Arleen's dad's side & the other with Arleen's Mom's side. We kind of had nonchalant parties because at 1st we only wanted a small immediate family party & make no big deal but finally caved in to Brit, So we planned all at last minute.

Arleen's dad's party was at Covina Bowl & Brit's Great Gr Ma Maggie came, her 2nd cousin Della - some other 2nd cousins, Arleen's sis Rachel, & of course me, arleen, & Gr Pa Ray. We bowled for a few hrs & had pizza. Arleen & I brought a 3 leches cake ..yum yum.

Arleen's Mom Side came to our Apt - Our family, Arleen's sis Rachel & Maribel along with Bell's husband Eric & baby daughter Danielle, Arleen's cousin Dede & family, Arleen's Aunt Patsy (Dede's Mom) Elsie & Dominic. Arleen made Turkey Pot Roast & in a side pot were the potatoes/carrots, along with Tres Leches cake once more ;)

Yesterday Brit was welcomed in the Azusa 1st Ward as a young woman! So official now! Lst week she went to 1st YW nt. She is growing to fast for me :(

Brittney's 1st Teen Summer Camp

Brit as we affectionately call my daughter turns 12 on August 11. She maybe because of going to Middle School this past year for 6th grade already acts like a "teen". Because she will be 12 then she enters a teen girl group at church called "Young Women" or nickname "YW". The YW go every year from 12-18 a weekly summer camp. So she was invited to this years YW Summer Camp even though not 12 yet becasue she will turn 12 before the end of the summer.

I got to get her ready for camp & was such a shame ;) Yeah rt.. i love camping for those who know me. I made her a 10s pack or possibles bag as an emergency kit that she would keep with her whever leaving camp. 10s pack is 10 essential items one would need for survival. IE 1. Sm Flashlight* I also include usually a 10-20ft rope & small insect repellant & of course a water bottle on the waist. Some stuff I had already & others gave me an excuse to shop for some "toys". We can use some of it for either her 72 hr emergency kit at home or for when we go camping.

At first Brittney beforehnad was very excited then day of trip she got cold feet. I was kind of surprised because usally Brit never does. I had explained in camp prep days to get involved as much as possible becasue this helps you not be "bored" ( A new fav saying of hers), Will make friends & have fun, & won't get as homesick. She told me when she got home thanks for that advice dad! Also thanks to Arleen & I helping her stick to going on trip she had an awesome time! Arleen & I are patting ourselves as we speak ;)

Well here i go I will try to post our 1st post after my sister set blog up. Thanxs sis!! This blog settings etc are harder for me to figure than my other blog which I am keeping running till I figure bugs etc out on this blog. This blog doesn't have what I would like yet like music video, music, etc..

On July 1st the Azusa Parkinsons left for Logan, UT at about 9 pm after my father in law's bowling league. We had some thunderstorms through Victorville, CA on off & on all the way thru South UT.We were going to try to drive straight thru to Logan but we decided to stop in Cedar City at the Comfort Inn because in part I (adrian) was miserable from a sore throat-cold, etc.

After a good breakfast at the hotel we continued the trip to my parents in Logan. More rain off & on sometimes hard all the way to Northern UT ( Cache Valley) we started to wonder if we would go to Bear lake with my parents at all. Stopped at a Michelson's Restaurant which had a little train running along the top throughout the restaurant. Arrived in Logan around 6pm after having severe traffic jams through Provo & especially in SLC from Draver to Ogden where i got off freeway & took 84 around dead traffic back to 15.At parents we ate some yummy stew on arrival that helped my cold ;) We then watched "So u Think U Can Dance" 2 shows.

On Friday the 3rd we went to Bear Lake with the drive thru Logan Cnyn. We had some thunder showers at times & worried not so good to be by a lake during ;) We ate yummy tailgate lunch because of all the rainy season of late the shore was further up than normal & not much sand to enjoy. I thought very cool anyways & liked the tailgating. My awesome parents then rented a ski boat! Jesse was the 1st to try, then Alicia who did rather well, Dad tried, then we picked up Jesse's bro Shelby tried skiing for the 1st time, then Jared was the last to try. Jared was the best overall that day. I will say that our boat wasn't that great of a "ski boat" being the controls etc were difficult & didn't have enough settings & the speed kept changing & also that we haven't rented one in past. If had more time I would have tried though I was very pessimitic about it being i have been several times in past & never been able to stand ;( After the skiing we went to have shakes in downtown which were thoroughly enjoyed being that it started getting hot & humid etc. At night we went & watched the Ut State fireworks from bluffs above which was pretty kewl because we lade out blankets & listend to show from a nearby car while they slowly got show under way with some psyched out false starts ;) On way back to my parents near my Grandparents we got stuck in traffic for @ 1hr :( This S Calli driver almost got out to pimp slap some rude Utahans too!! : 0 Joking ...LOL

On Saturday we woke up then had breakfast at a park where Dad Parkinson was one of the cooks being in the Bishopric he was volunteered ;) It was good u could pick ur omelet fixins, etc. Then we went to the Hyrum parade & had lots of water etc because hot! We let traffic die dwon & mingled through the park & even had some yummy cold watermelon (free). Then we went to Logan Fairgrounds ( more like a park) near the Logan Zoo to look at the Cruis-In Cars ( Cruisin has lots of hotrods & custom cars bikes, etc & is a big event drawing enthusiasts from abroad). I loved the lowriders but was looking for a Woody hotrod being Wodies are a fv car of mine ( surfer style ;) ). We then met Grandma & Gr Pa Parkinson for a lunch/ dinner at Goldden Corral where everyone had their fill being some yummy food my fav was the brussle sprouts hmmm ;) Then we watched the cruisin down the main blv in Logan.

Sunday we went to church & where Dad Parkinson gave a good testimony.Arleen & I enjoyed Gospel Doctrine where a guy spoke of his experience in South America & protecting yourself from false doctrine & prophets etc, Arleen enjoyed Relief Society & I enjoyed Elders Quorum which is small compared to my home ward. So there could be more personal conversation. Brit went to Young Women becasue the nearet primary class was 2 yrs belor her & she is almost going to YW in a mnth anyways. We then had a yummy Chicken Stacks breaking the fast on Fast Sunday. I believe my father in law loved it getting stuffed ;)

Monday we left late resting from all our fun from previous days. We arrived in Vegas around 6pm & upon calling some hotels for quotes & then calling AAA we got a good price at Excalibur which was hard to beat at $50. We at dinner at an Italian Restaurant thanks to my father n law Ray. Arleen had some kind of Italian Bean Soup, Me Spagetti Boulognaise (spaghetti meat sauce), Britt & Ray got angel hair pasta. My diet had long since gone out the window ;) Arleen & I rested in our room & Ray & Brit went to the kid game area. We all wanted to swim but the pool had closed early about 7 pm.

Tues- We woke up & had Breakfast/ lunch at Baker after leaving Vegas at a place called Mad Greek's which we like. They are inexpensive. Me & Ray had Asada Burrittos, Arleen & Brit hamburgers. I had a yummy wild cherry drink too ;) We then also got some Beef Jerky at Alien Jerky a pretty cool store in Baker thats has all kinds of Jerky, nuts, etc.

Before going home we dropped in on Arleen's sis Maribel who had delvered a healthy baby girl the nt we drove to UT. Baby was a healthy 6lbs 4oz 19 inches baby girl named Danielle Palmer. Upon arrival home at our Apt Arleen made spoiled Brit & I with Turkey tacos etc hmmmm

All is all a good short, busy, tiring, resting filling battery vacation ..LOL
